The perfect wedding day…. with so many wet weather weddings already held this year, it was only a matter of time before the perfect weather day arrived. And it did for Carrie Ann and Stuart’s big day. We had chosen so many great outdoor locations, I was crossing my fingers (hands, toes, legs, arms!) for NO RAIN! Locations included Williamstown Botanical Gardens, the Strand, the water front and Pier at Williamstown.

Engagement photo sessions are fun! Very different from the wedding day where its all about The DRESS, The SHOES, The RING, today it was just about being in-love! Relaxing and having some fun, and we did….

A visit to Abbotsford Convent never disappoints. I sometimes wished I lived a little closer to this magical little pocket in the city, its worth visiting, pack a picnic and enjoying the grounds and Collingwood Farm just next door. Chris and Stef, I cannot wait until your wedding day!

A glorious wedding day on the Mornington Peninsula. With so many family and friends traveling from overseas, Libby & Lawrence didn’t want to miss a minute of the party. We had prearrange for most of the photos to be taken before the ceremony, this way everyone could relax and enjoy the wine and good company without leaving for additional photos – great idea! Both Libby & Lawrence with family & friends stayed at the divine Tussie Mussie Vineyard Retreat, before heading to the ceremony & reception held at Willow Creek Vineyard & Salix Restaurant, did someone say wine? Both outstanding locations, gorgeous backdrops, and of course a stunning bride & groom! Here’s a small preview of the afternoon…

Ahhh Melbourne! How we all love to talk about your weather! And I’m sure Angela & Joel and their guests will talk about this wet wedding day for many years to come. But really, the one and only thing we have no control over is the weather on a wedding day. We can have back up plans, and perhaps 100 umbrellas! and that’s as much as we can do. I love the fact the Angela was still willing to stroll along the banks of the Yarra River for the photos we had planned. With smiles and umbrellas & soggy feet we embraced our beautiful Melbourne city. The venue, Studley Park Boathouse Cafe in Kew, Melbourne.

Details, details, details, I love all the wonderful details that make every wedding so unique and special. Jess & Kevin’s wedding was held earlier this year at Mitchelton Winery in Nagambie. I think it must be the largest winery I have ever been to. But given it’s size, the venue still felt very cosy and intimate. Here’s just a glimpse of their special day….

I’m finally back in the office, after enjoying the school holidays, surfing, swimming, skating (kids – not me!). Also have a gorgeous wedding to blog as well as some family portraits.

A big thank you to the many brides waiting patiently for orders to be filled, albums to be made and meetings to be booked. Thank you for your patience. I will be contacting all brides this week in regards to appointments and enquiries for 2012 and 2013, yep already have bookings for 2013, it’s going to be a busy one……….
