You! In mum’s tummy…I know a lot of woman are not so keen on having photographs of themselves while pregnant. Feeling fat, no energy, throwing up every half hour! and looking pale while you are meant to be glowing, I know, photos are probably the last thing on your mind. But believe me, this life changing experience must be documented. It may only happen once in your life time, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to be pregnant several times, but every pregnancy is different, every baby is different and I can’t think of a better way of celebrating this new life coming into the world then a family portrait of “you in mum’s tummy”.

I love designing albums! There is so much work and planning that goes into creating a couple’s wedding album. It does take time, but the end result is just amazing. I LOVE designing albums. Here are a few pages from Luke and Mel’s wedding album. The wedding took place in March this year. The ceremony was held in the Fitzroy Gardens and the reception at The Willows, St Kilda Road Melbourne.

I’m often asked “When is a good age to photograph my baby?” And my answer is NOW! If you are thinking about getting some professional photographs of your little one, do it now! Because if you wait, you may never get around to doing it, you may miss out on capturing that dribble grin, no hair yet! Or those chubby arms & legs or toothless smile and the wobble walk. Anytime is a great time to photograph your baby just as they are RIGHT NOW! Because they grow so quickly. What they are doing now, they wont be doing next week, or next month.

These images are from a session early on this year. She was nearly walking, a very busy little bee, exploring everything. Loves books and loves being on mum & dad’s big bed.

It’s such a great honor and absolute pleasure when I’m asked to photograph one of my wedding couple’s new baby.

You feel like you are part of their family history. You were there to capture the special moments and events on their wedding day, and now you have the greatest pleasure of meeting their new baby and seeing how much, as a couple they have grown and how amazing their future is going to be with this new little person in their lives.

These last 4, the client bought  4 square acrylic wall mounts. Big and glossy, looks amazing.

Another fun session at home amongst the vegie patch and the fruit trees.The home vegie patch and back yard is one of my favourite places to photograph. You never know what you are going to find, new growth is appearing, always changing with the seasons and its fun just to get outdoors and explore.

I’m still working my way through this years and last years weddings to blog. This wedding held last May at Inglewood Chapel in Kangaroo Ground had red fairies, red tulips and of course the car red! Wineries are always a great location for weddings, with some spectacular backdrops.

How much fun is it to dress up? Why does it stop when we become adults? Does it have to? This beautiful couple had a fun and crazy afternoon not only dressing themselves up, but their dogs too! We also had the Royal horse drawn carriage! I love the idea of doing something a little different from the usual portrait sitting. It worked really well.
